Wine journalist for a day
Are you ready to set out on an incredible adventure amidst fragrant vineyards and old-fashioned typewriters? Get ready to become a wine journalist for a day. You’ll get a special welcome, closed doors will open just for you, and hidden-away bottles will be uncorked. Be just like a real journalist: “That’s the press, baby, the press.” The absolutely exclusive reporting tour takes place in a large winery. The mission is simple: write the best article ever written about wine!
A fun, intelligent role-playing game
A real journalist will give you invaluable tips
A team-building to hone reporting and summarizing skills
A “journalist’s privileges”
A real journalist introduces guests to the media world. The guests then tour the winery, guided by the owners or a winemaker through the premises for making and aging wine, the vineyards, and the estate. They sample wine straight from the barrels or bottles not yet on the market; they interview and take notes. Then there’s the actual tasting, before or during lunch. Just like a real journalist. And that means they have to deliver an article, too! Will it be good enough to please the editor?
The event can be done anywhere, but we suggest a winery or a place with a special atmosphere. At the end of the game, you might have a lunch or dinner paired with the wines created. The event includes a host and wine expert, bulk wine and the winemaker’s tools, a final toast with prosecco, and a prize bottle for the winning team. It lasts about 2.5 hours.
