Guests will be greeted by the chef, the team-building presenter, and the staff in a wonderful setting full of flowers, colors, and background music. Each participant will be taught how to recognize edible plants, what their properties are, and how they might be used in the kitchen. After the introduction, the goals of the day and the rules of the competition are explained. Each team prepares three finger foods with the flowers and ingredients provided. The dishes will be judged both for flavor combination and visual presentation. Participants enjoy the dishes paired with a glass of Italian sparkling wine in a mini-tasting class to highlight the connection between flowers and the wine’s tasting notes.
