Guests will be greeted by foraging experts and the activity’s presenter. Participants will be taught how to recognize edible plants that grow naturally in Italy, learn their properties and how they might be used in the kitchen. After the introduction, the goals of the day and the rules of the competition are explained. After a group exercise, in the first stage, each team will collect as many wild foods as possible and then use their daring and imagination to take on the next challenge…in the kitchen!
With our support, the teams prepare a menu of foods found in the wild, combining intense flavors, all with total respect for the planet. This event is a unique opportunity to working towards a common goal for the company while sending a clear message about sustainability and the little things we can all do to help. Everyone is sure to remember this team-building event long after they return to town!
The team-building can be done in most outdoor sites, supported by foraging experts, and carefully choosing the cooking competition venue. Depending on the location, herbs and local ingredients are combined to bring together the best of tradition and brand-new discoveries. The activity lasts about 2.5 hours. It’s also a great chance to spend a relaxing day outdoors.
